On the 4th Tuesday of the month, some lovely ladies gather to work on quilts at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. This organization is called Quilt Days.
Mostly they do hand piecing and hand quilting. This is where I went to learn how to hand quilt.
These ladies make sure that each and every quilt is finished at the highest standards. These quilts are sold at a Holiday Quilt Show and Auction that happens every other year. The money raised from this auction goes to a different cause each time. This year's auction goes to support breast cancer research.
Here are some of quilts that they have been working on.
If you ever find yourself in the area, stop by and hang out for a while. These ladies are super sweet and happy for any help they can get.
Have fun quilting!
