Curved Quilt Blocks have a reputation for being difficult. But I find that if you follow all the steps it works out pretty well. Curved blocks are mostly known for being used in the Drunkard's Path Quilt.
Today, I am going to share how to sew together curved quilting pieces. I shared how to make the templates for these pieces in my previous blog post.
First press both pieces in half.
Next, line up the creases, right sides together and pin in place.
Next line up the two sides and pin in place.
Pin the rest in place, stretching the outside curve as needed. The more pins the better.
Carefully stitch the pieces together.
It should look something like this.
Clip the curves to the seam.
Press. Here is the backside.
Here is the front.
